Measuring micro-organisms in water offers ways to monitor water quality. DNA detection technology makes it possible to obtain this information quickly and accurately.
For example, to measure whether there is a question of faecal contamination and, if so, where and from which animal; whether pathogens are present in drinking water or whether the water from an industrial process is contaminated. More data can be generated than, for example, with conventional culturing techniques with which many micro-organisms cannot be measured.
It is our ambition to make DNA techniques increasingly available to you on location and for in-line monitoring of processes. We work with state-of-the-art detection technology that is compact and portable.
