eDNA has great potential for water quality management. It is becoming more and more accepted as an alternative (dutch article) to existing techniques for the inventory of rare species or invasive exotics. Important advantages are the speed with which the inventory can be carried out and the reduced costs. Taking water samples is sufficient for an inventory, a visual observation is not necessary.
With our own primer design software, we develop a tailor-made eDNA analysis within a week. Click further for more information about our projects or for our available ORVIdetect analyses.
